Elegant Lady

This is so easy  to make as the quality of the Kanban materials make such an elegant card.

ATCs from Kathy

My friend Kathy and I met through a craft forum and have been corresponding ever since. She is a very talented and generous lady who introduced me to the art of ATCs. We do exchange them but I must admit she is quicker than I am. Thanks Kathy.

As these are not my work please do not copy them for commercial or any other reason. Thank you.

Vintage pages

These are two scrapbook pages I made showing my Grandmother and Her Mother and Aunt. I know the picture of my Grandmother was taken in 1919 but I am not sure about the other.

Son's birthday card

This card was made from the Sharon Duncan "Country Kids" cd which I love. I have made it for my son's birthday. Both my sons have birthdays just 4 days apart so I might just make another rather than decide which one to give it to. They are both in their 30s so the other cards I make will be golf and rock climbing.

Card for Natalie

I have quite a few birthdays due in August so I thought I'd make a start. This card is for my youngest Granddaughter, Natalie, who will be 3. It seems like only yesterday since she was born and now I have another grandson, Finlay, and 2 great grandchildren, Ella and Matthew.

A VERY special card

This card is stunning and the picture does not do it justice. On Thursday morning morning I set my alarm as I did not want to miss the return of Sharon Duncan to Create and Craft. I'd never sent an email before but I did this time and it was read out along with others including crafting "royalty". If Joanna Sheen is the queen of craft (and she is) the Sharon Duncan is the princess. My name was put in the "Teacup of love" and the postman delivered this beautiful card this morning. It is on silver and gold mirri- card which doesn't show well in the picture but it is lovely. Thanks Sharon and Martyn x

Busy Day Today

Today started early for me as I set my alarm in order to watch Sharon Duncan on Create and Craft. It was a great show but it just let me know about another couple of cds I really must have. They are now on my wish list along with a few more of her cds. I also made a few necklaces yesterday and I'll add them when I get round to photographing them. I think that this is another addictive craft.

These are a couple of cards I made with my husband in mind as he loves cars and like me he is vintage.

Eilidh's shawl

This is my very favourite shawl pattern. I have lost count of the number of times I have knitted this shawl. I mostly knit in 2 ply for babies but have knitted 3 ply coloured shawls for adults. This one was knitted for my Granddaughter Eilidh who is now 6.

The sun is shining

The sun is shining today but that doesn't mean there won't be showers later. Every day has been unpredictable. I love the sea so when I saw these toppers on sale at my local craft shop I just couldn't resist. I just folded back the front of an A5 card added some torn backing paper, matted the topper on silver and blue then added a sentiment.

Card from my friend

This is the card I received from my friend Catherine this year. Her cards are beautiful and her scrapbooks are amazing. She is a very talented lady.

As this is not my work please do not copy it for commercial or any other reason. Thank you.

New hobby

This is my very first attempt at making jewellery. I didn't think I could manage it with my hands but it was easier than I thought.

My miracle

This is my gorgeous youngest grandson, Finlay, aged 4 months. His birth defied the odds and he didn't have an easy start but he is wonderful, healthy, happy and very much loved.

Romance

This card was made using an image from Joanna Sheen. I just love her cds.

Thank you card

I am not very good at stamping there are so many lovely ones out there I really want to improve. This is one of my first attempts.

New baby

I made this card for my daughter-in-law's brother and his wife who have just had a baby girl. On this one I used my latest Keepsake board and I just love this shape.

Male birthday card

I thought I'd better do something for the men and when I saw this big decoupage sheet I just had to buy it.

Female birthday card

Today I have decided to add a few of my cards. I hope you like them. This is a simple card I made with a sheet of twister decoupage given to me by my friend Catherine

New beginnings

Today I have set up this blog but at the moment I don't know what I am doing so I can only try my best. I am quite tired today as I have had a few cards to make. My daughter had her birthday today and of course I was prepared for that but I had a few cards to make earlier than expected when my second greatgrandchild , Matthew, was born yesterday. Here he is with me and as you can see he is tiny and beautiful
